A Proven Seven Step Pathway to Wealth

This isn’t just hype.  This is a tried and true "road map" to wealth.  I have helped hundreds upon hundreds of people just like you do this, and many of them are now multimillionaires.  (Click here for a partial list.) No kidding.
 
I have absolutely never given this away for free before, but here it is!
 
First some background:  This road-map involves doing business with the government.  If you follow my blog, you know that selling to the Government is the “quickest way to get rich” according to Inc. Magazine and American Spectator.  The economy just isn’t small business friendly anymore, but the Government is friendlier to small businesses than ever!
 
Without further ado – here’s the pathway.
  1. Decide what you will sell.  This is important.  You need to get specific.  What product or service can you sell at a reasonable price.  Whatever it is, the Government buys a lot of it.  Make a decision and stick with it.
  2. Register.  There are three important registrations you need.  All three are relatively self-explanatory (but remember, it’s the Government – within each certification, there are instructions, email addresses, and links to get help where needed!).  First, register with Dun and Bradstreet to get a DUNS number.  Here’s where you can do that. http://www.dnb.com/get-a-duns-number.html.  Second, you need to register in the System for Award Management (www.SAM.gov ).  Third is the Small Business Administration (SBA) “DSBS” registration.  When you register in SAM.gov, the sytem will give you the option to register with SBA.  Select yes and do that registration.  SAM & SBA DSBS.  The SBA
  3. Get certification.  This is important!!  Let me say that again, this is important.  Take advantage of any competitive advantage you have.  A lot of people are trying to sell to the Government so you need to differentiate yourself.  This will make you stand out from the crowd and get noticed.  If you are a woman, a minority, a veteran, a disabled veteran, or live in areas of high unemployment or low income there are certifications for you.  Find out what you qualify for and get certified!!  This is important!  If you qualify for more than one certification, get them all.  Click here for more info about the certifications that may be available to you! 
  4. Submit bids and proposals.  All government opportunities are listed on www.FBO.gov.  FBO stands for Federal Business Opportunities.  Go to FBO.gov, spend some time poking around, doing searches, and find opportunities that you can respond to.  Read the request and submit your bid.  This is work!  But it is worth it.  A client of mine made $1million dollars in two months doing just this.
  5. Win.  Don’t inflate your price.  If you get a chance to negotiate with a contracting officer, be negotiable.  Some people are too demanding.  Don’t be.  Your goal is to get the award at a price that will allow you to make a reasonable profit, and then repeat that over and over and over.  You’ll get better as you learn.  Trust me.   
  6. Do the work.  Deliver what they want.  This is important, especially if you want repeat business.  If you win a contract, you don’t want it to be a onetime thing.  Do a good job and get repeat business!  A lot of companies do bad work, miss delivery dates, etc., and it keeps them from growing in the government market.  BUT – if you are a small business with one of the certifications I mentioned above, AND you do good work, you are literally in a gold mine!! Seriously, 
  7. Get paid.  Yes!  This is the really fun part.  I love seeing those US Treasury checks arrive in the mail.  You will too.
